Mete allows cowitness with optic and only the Darkside rival with the additional optic plate allows this but is limited to what optics will fit. The main difference between the SFX RIVAL and other Caniks is the competition trigger.

The mete still has a great trigger on it, but can only take micro red dots since it cowitness with the iron sights. Those are pretty much the main differences. There are optic plate options to open up possibilities for both. I use plates from calculatedkinetics.us on my Mete Sfx Pro. The threaded barrel on the Mete gives the option to use a suppressor, or comp like the ones from u/disdef, but the Rival's barrel allows you to use a RoboComp from u/wasatcharms.
