With Google Fiber since October we’ve had 4 outtages lasting several hours/days.Can’t speak on Comcast. Hahahahaha. But seriously, no. Few buildings in Miami are even on fiber. Oh they sell you whatever claim you’ll buy. But you’re not getting better than 100mb average unless you buy true fiber T1 or T3 or Ethernet direct ($1k+ a month). Had WOW, then they were bought out by Astound. I’ve had a few problems, but nothing major to justify me switching back to Xfinity. I also have the ACP, so I was paying $20/month for 500mbps. Although I just opened my bill yesterday and the price increased by $10. Downside I guess of them not having contracts.AT&T was charging me $60 for 18 mbps down and 1 mbps up, and they have a stipulation for charging $5 for every 50 GB over 250 GB used per month, though that was never enforced upon me. Xfinity isn't as bad as AT&T in pricing for what you get, but they try hard to hide the upstream, and back when I used them, they had a 1 TB softcap per month ... Installation.
